He flows in a teaching/preaching anointing, has a fiery tangible anointing in his hands, and is an anointed songwriter and singer. Over 3,300 have been baptized in the Holy Spirit through the laying on of his hands.
A good percentage of a Sunday morning crowd comes back for evening services and offerings are generous although there is no push, pull or hype. These are the two primary ways pastors measure how their people are receiving a guest speaker. Most importantly, many people are saved and rededicated to Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and physically healed in these meetings. Everyone present is spiritually fed and encouraged.
He is willing to stay in a home to keep overhead costs low. He can come for one to five services.
He helps pastors make “Christ-like disciples.” Every service themes around helping people find Christ and become “just like Jesus” in motive, attitude, faith mentality, loving obedience and anointing.
Because he pastored for 18 years Wes has a full understanding of what pastors go through. He models and teaches respect and appreciation for pastors and encourages them through freely giving them some of his teachings in books and CD’s.
MODELS & TEACHES A “SWEET SPIRIT” ATTITUDE
A major emphasis of his ministry is to teach people how to overcome bitterness, self-pity, anger, pride and other hindrances to prayer. People all over America have commented “He has a sweet spirit,” or “I’ve never been corrected so powerfully in such a gentle way.”
RICH CONTENT IN MESSAGES
All his messages are rich in the Word of God with profound truths being made simple to understand with memorable illustrations. Multitudes have commented on how helpful the content of these messages are.
Wes comes to local churches on a “free-will offering basis.” That means one offering per service, typically received after he preaches and before he leads people into altar ministry times. He pauses and says “ We’re going to pause and allow you to give an offering as an act of worship. This is what I do to support my family.” Nothing more is said. The pastor offers a prayer and receives the offering. Wes comes back up almost immediately and begins to lead people into altar ministry times.
EXCELLENCE IN ALL THINGS
Wes supplies free publicity materials, which are professional, classy, and full color. Nothing is done in a shabby or sloppy way.
Wes’ goal is to be a “master of encouragement.” Pastors and audiences are greatly encouraged in every service. His joyful, honest transparency is refreshing.
Wes has been a full time ministry for forty-four years - seven as an associate pastor, eighteen as a senior pastor and nineteen as a traveling teacher/evangelist.
He constantly practices, in public and private, exactly what he preaches.
Wes quickly connects with audiences in any geographic or cultural area and welcomes adults, teens, and children to his services. He personally greets everyone who attends his meetings (if physically possible). He easily holds the attention of mixed audiences - adults, teens, and children. He manifests Christ’s affection for people.
Wes has been married to his wife Bonnie for 45 years. Together they had 2 lovely daughters and 3 grandsons & 1 granddaughter.
ORDAINED WITH THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD
Wes is a minister in good standing with the Oregon Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. Most of his meetings are in Assemblies of God churches but he also ministers in Foursquare, Open Bible and independent charismatic churches. He loves the whole body of Christ.
His book and CD table will be full of helpful materials that will meet a wide variety of spiritual needs. These are all priced very moderately.
PROMOTES UNITY & EMOTIONAL HEALING
Wes loves to be sent by God into churches and situations where people have been hurt or are in strife. His teachings promote forgiveness and reconciliation, help to prevent strife and division, and promote true and effective intercessory prayer. He helps raise up spiritual bodyguards for pastors by training people how to always keep their spirits under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
